— Why design?
Interest to the creativity appeared in my childhood, when I didn’t want just to paint ready pictures, I wanted to add something more to them. I always liked to combine pictures, photos, fonts, colors into a single unit, that’s why I went studying Graphical design. Design as an art always attracts me by it’s variety and everchanging trends. But it’s not just art, it’s also the communication between people on it’s special language. It’s not about «I see like that»: what is said on this language should be easily understood not only by the author, but by all receivers of the «message».

— What’s trending now?
Every year more and more trends appear, the latest is the striving to the simplicity and pithiness. And this is my style. LARKS logo was exactly based on it. This is a bird symbol, shapes inside which emphasize versatility of the company.

— What is your personal
approach?
I try to feel the changes in visual communications, destinguish between momentery fashion and longterm trends. Happily, there are a lot of opportunities of this: everything gorgeous which is created all over the world can be available - just know how to search. Of course, you can see a lot on the screen of your computer, but it limits you. I travel a lot around the world, study traditions and contemporary trends — this gives huge opportunities to find new inspiration.
